Sentinel Mc Series Secure Remote Access Telephone
The Sentinel is designed for unguarded apartment and office buildings. It offers secured entry intercom, code access door release, and an intelligent telephone all in the one unit, with auto answer and termination of calls. Occupants can communicate with visitors and allow keyless entry. Its non-volatile memory is capable of storing up to 355 phone numbers. The Sentinel gives occupants of apartment and office buildings a safe means to communicate with visitors and a secure way of allowing entry. The Sentinel is suitable for premises where there is a constant need for entry and exit. There is no special equipment required at the apartment end. As visitors enter the occupant’s apartment number and press the ë#í key, the occupant takes the call on their normal telephone. Entering the access code by way of the telephone keypad, the occupant may then release the door or gate.

No Bill Interface Controller (NBI)
Now that Dallas Delta has produced a No Bill Interface for the Sentinel, a dedicated PSTN line is no longer required - and therefore no cost for calls made from the Sentinel! The No Bill Interface connects between the PSTN and the building telephone wiring. All wiring is made to disconnection modules (Krone blocks) ensuring a very easy setup. The No Bill Interface will also accommodate up to 9 Sentinels
The Controller communicates with the Sentinels via DTMF tones and the NBI Cards via RS485 interface. The Controller requires a power supply which also supplies all the NBI Interface Cards.
